Firstly, I do love so so many things about Daydream Lily 

(seriously, what's not to love?) but right now it's mostly because I am SO excited to have finally found out about the Four Corner Store - Thank you Liss!

Is it just me or am I always the last to know about such things?

Oh this wonderful world on-line, it never ceases to amaze me…

So anyway, I may have gone a little nuts on there aaaand I may have blown a bit too much of the Chrissy budget on MeMeMe goodies… well not that much really but then there wasn't that much left over in the kitty to spend...

Still, Merry Christmas to me!

Can't wait to play with my Kodak & Fuji Grab Bags, I even scored myself some Lucky film… yea I'm a silly sucker for gimmicks.

Now if only I could stop going through whole rolls in under a day!

The Results Are In!

I finally got my first rolls developed from the trusty Vivitar and boy did I do better than expected!

(considering my actual expectation was that they would all come back either black or mega crap, I think I did quite well for a noob...)

Please excuse my thighs.
The emphasis is supposed to be on the beautiful sun beam... 

Just had to stick my stupid foot in it and spoil this shot now didn't I...

I especially love the effect the direct sun gives and the subtle blurring of the edges. I think me and my angel superheadz are going to have many fun days together :)

(provided I get my replacement. The original one had a dicky door).

Look what I got in the mail today!

Sorry but I couldn't wait till the 15th of October on the fat chance I might actually win something for a change before I invested in a film camera.
Besides that would be after my holiday and using a camera like this in sunny Queensland seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up.

I'm not expecting too much from myself since even my digital takes are often flukes helped along with heavy editing but hopefully I don't suck too badly at my first attempts.

Wish me and my little White Angel luck on our courtship jubilee  ^_^  yipee!
